I'm a third-generation pool builder. I grew up on job sites, learned the trade from family, and have spent my whole career building pools and screen enclosures.

What I believe
Fair to you. Fair to the builder.
Your money should never get ahead of the work. That one rule prevents more disasters than anything else I teach.
The cheapest bid isn't the problem — the incomplete one is. Compare scope first, price second.
Most builders are honest. Good ones welcome a buyer who asks the right questions. This isn't about catching contractors; it's about hiring the right one.
When I get something wrong, I'll say so publicly. Corrections get posted.
